Secure Enterprise Computing provides a wide range of security services to help your company stay ahead of today’s ever-changing security issues. Overview information on each of SEC’s services is provided below.  If you have specific needs or additional questions, please contact us.

External Assessment
SEC’s External Vulnerability Assessment measures and analyzes an organization’s susceptibility to outside threats by verifying the integrity of the existing security infrastructure. Our assessment methodology identifies vulnerabilities, advises on their severity, and provides prioritized corrections, allowing you to effectively secure operations in a dynamic environment. This is a technical review from an outsider’s point of view that does not consider physical, personnel, procedural, or legal security issues.

SecureScan
SEC’s SecureScan is a tiered Internet Vulnerability Scan that examines an organization’s susceptibility to outside threats by verifying the integrity of a company’s existing security infrastructure. This scan identifies vulnerabilities, advises on their severity, and provides prioritized corrections, allowing you to effectively secure operations in a dynamic environment. This technical process quickly reviews all hosts in an organization’s Internet address space, testing for thousands of known vulnerabilities.

Internal Assessment
SEC’s Internal Assessment identifies current company practices and makes recommendations that can, upon implementation, significantly increase internal network security and help establish practices that maintain the achieved level of security.  Our engineers will work closely with your company to review key components of your network, identify overall security needs for the environment, and provide best-fit solutions.

Application Security Review
While infrastructure security components such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems are essential to route and protect traffic, they provide no protection for the processing of critical business information within applications.  Today, application development is largely driven by time, features, and functional quality. SEC’s Application Security Review can help identify weaknesses in your applications and/or applications development processes, make recommendations on how to address vulnerabilities, and assist you in building a foundation to construct “attack resistant” applications.

Security Implementation
Effective firewalls, content controls, gateways and identity systems allow companies to meet the security demands of their network environment and directly support their organization's business mission statement and goals.  SEC understands that creating effective controls requires a thorough appreciation of the threats to business assets.  Our expertise with security design goes way beyond the devices themselves and will help you in securing the assets that are key to your company's operations.

Intrusion Detection
These days, companies require an effective intrusion detection system (IDS) for logging outside hackers' attempts to penetrate the company’s public and private network segments and hosts. Log reports should be regularly reviewed by technical personnel to identify real threats and decide whether action needs to be taken or if upper management should be notified. SEC has a proven methodology for implementing and managing effective IDS solutions. Let us design a solution that will fit your organization.

Remote Access Solutions
SEC’s approach to remote access begins with an analysis of your company’s business processes and current security architecture to provide a thorough understanding of what assets are critical to your organization and how those assets are used to provide service to customers, clients, and partners. We provide a range of remote access services, including: secure remote access; firewall configuration and egress filtering; user authentication; VPN creation, configuration and access control; webserver security; policy and procedure development and others.

SecureMail
SEC’s SecureMail handles many common aspects of managing an e-mail system, including: e-mail virus scanning; spam filtering based on known spam e-mail sources, keyword filtering, and spam patterns; content and keyword filtering based on customer requirements and SEC input; ability to modify whitelist / blacklist on a per-customer basis; administrator notification of viruses and blocked attachments; and offers an intuitive, secure web-based portal for managing quarantined e-mail and measuring effectiveness.  SecureMail provides high-availability 24x7 service and monitoring, and redundant Internet and power connections to help protect your company’s e-mail, assets and reputation.

Wireless Network Security
SEC’s wireless network security team will assess your company’s wireless network to discern its current security posture or assist you in building a secure wireless deployment from the ground up.  Working with your IT staff, Secure Enterprise Computing will tailor a configuration that fits your business’ needs without compromising your security policy or information resources.

Wireless Network Security Audit
SEC's Wireless Network Security Audit will assess your company's wireless network to discern its current security posture, then provide recommendations and assistance in securing your confidential information and protecting your firm from outside attacks.  Our experienced security engineers will work with your IT staff and independently to identify any Wi-Fi network vulnerabilities that would place your organization at risk.

Information Security Risk Assessment
Given today’s dynamic Internet environment and emerging networking technologies, businesses must work to maintain comprehensive, proactive and compliant safeguards for critical company assets.  SEC’s experienced security engineers will use information gathered through a series of interviews, software tools, industry experience, and our understanding of industry best practices and standards such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Code of Practice for Information Security Management (ISO 17799), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, the NIST Special Publication 800-42 and the FBI/SANS Top 20 Vulnerability List to assess the state of your network and improve your company’s overall security posture.
